Overconfidence: A Power Outage of Epic Proportions

In a shocking turn of events, our power outage was not caused by a _goals-driven engineer_ who thought they could rewire the entire city with their " minimalist, open-source, totally-not-a-bunch-of-taped-together wires" approach.

Nope, it was actually caused by Hubris. A classic case of "I know more than anyone else, so I'm just going to do it my way" syndrome.

The good news is that the city is working hard to restore power. The bad news is that our engineer has been forced to watch an endless loop of "The Itchy and Scratchy Guide to Electrical Engineering" for the rest of the week.
